Complimentary pickup and drop off at most major Downtown and Miami Beach hotels
Comfortable luxury touring coach great for sightseeing
See the Florida Keys and reach Key West in just 4 hours then take an exciting Key West snorkeling cruise on this great Miami to Key West Day Trip with Snorkeling package. Arrange a free morning pickup from most Sunny Isles Beach, Miami Beach, or Downtown Miami hotels then depart the city at 7:45am and travel to Key West via luxury touring coach on the incredible Overseas Highway.
This is one of America’s most renowned road trips, and it’s the perfect way to begin a day of fun and sun in tropical Key West. After touring the full length of the Florida Keys, you will reach the island around noon and board a high-tech ocean catamaran to experience the coral reef snorkeling Key West is famous for. This Key West day trip package will add an unforgettable highlight to any Miami area vacation.
An air-conditioned luxury touring coach will whisk you south from Miami along U.S. Highway 1. After passing through the Southern Everglades, the road leaves the mainland and crosses a narrow land bridge to Key Largo. This is where U.S. 1 becomes the famous Overseas Highway, one of the most scenic roads in the world. It runs through the resort communities and parklands of the Upper Keys, and busy towns alternate with blue water, beaches, and bustling marinas to make for interesting sightseeing. Relax in the spacious comfortable seat, take pictures out the large windows, listen to the narrated tour, catch up on some reading, or just enjoy the beautiful views.
The Overseas Highway crosses 43 bridges on the route to Key West, the final inhabited island in the Florida Keys chain. But nothing matches the spectacular Seven Mile Bridge that reaches from Knights Key on the western tip of Marathon Key to uninhabited Little Duck Key in a single span. One of the top bridge engineering accomplishments in the world, the Seven Mile soars above emerald green water in a crossing that many visitors say is like flying. You might recognize this bridge from the Fast and Furious movie series and other action films. Now you can experience it in real life, and it is truly unforgettable.
After a few more short bridge crossings, Bahia Honda Key marks the beginning of the Lower Keys. This is Caribbean paradise and the views on land and sea are incredible. Small towns, marina resorts, blue water, white sand, and dozens of small islands present an ever-changing panorama. The pristine waters and coral-lined channels of the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary, or the Backcountry as the locals call it, stretch to the north. You can capture the feel of the Old Keys here, and the tropical atmosphere reminds you that Key West is close.
You will arrive in Key West right around noon and head down to the harbor for a guided Key West snorkeling tour out to the only living coral reefs in North America. It’s a fun boat ride out, and the large, stable ocean catamaran offers plenty of room to relax and enjoy the trip. When the captain selects the ideal spot for the weather and water conditions, friendly crew members will get you geared up with top quality snorkeling gear. If you are a beginner, the crew is ready to help out, but it is actually a really easy sport and soon you will be in the water and amazed at the variety and number of colorful fish and other marine creatures that swarm over the coral patches and sandy bottom.
After snorkeling, a fresh-water shower refreshes and cold beverages make the return trip to port a real happy hour. You will get back to land in time to walk around Old Town to see the sights, shop, and enjoy the local hospitality. Join the fun of cocktail hour in Key West – you have a designated driver for the return trip to Miami, where the coach will drop you off at about 10:00pm.

The experience I was hoping for didn’t happen because of the hurricane which is understandable. Cool Key West made sure they provided other options so we could still enjoy our time. We ended up snorkeling, even though the visibility wasn’t 100%, it was still awesome!
Lily is absolutely amazing and i would do it again!

Unfortunately the glass bottom boat allowed us to cancel the trip due to the weather. We are waiting on a full refund! Maybe we will try again soon.
Thanks

From beginning to end this tour is worth every penny. Our on board tour guide was amazing! She remembered everyone's name that was on the bus and did the tour in both English and Spanish. Her attitude was as amazing as the tour itself with a great smile. The drive down there was spectacular from either side of the bus and the driver was smooth taking turns and getting us there and back safely. Once there there is plenty to do either through add on's the tour offers or whatever you may want to do independently. We will definitely be doing this tour again when we come back and highly recommend cool key west.
Awesome trip definitely a worth your time.

Definitely recommend this trip for any first time visitors and those who want a leisure visit. They kept us up to date from the moment we made the reservation all through the trip. Very informative. Had plenty of time at Key West for self exploration. Glad I picked this option over driving myself
Excellent experience and a fun day!

First of all, thank you to our driver, Jorge, who navigated and go ur there and back safely.
A huge thank you to our wonderful and experienced tour guide , Lilly. She made sure we all had a great time, explained to us the pick up and drop off locations aling with the times.
Lilly, did an outstanding job of getting people checked in on tbe bus, made sure we all had seats, got people together who came together to sit together. We were told , same seats on the way back to not have any confusion. We were allowed to leave anything on board and it would be ok. (I left my jacket since it was going to be a hot 87 degrees on the island.)
The bus was a double decker and I believed we had somewhere around 77 people on this tour. The bus is air conditioned so with all these people, sure it might be a little cool, but there is a standard for comfort on a bus. Be prepared for a cool bus and you can shut the vent above you if its blowing on you. Dress for a three hour bus ride, not a bikini bus ride folks. You can change at numerous places on the island. Also, there is a bathroom on the bus, please try only to do a nunber one. The overhead outlets to charge your phone ,do not work. Remember, I said do not work, so charge your phone and bring a battery juice pack to power yourself up. Don't forget I told you so.
On the island there is tons to do, we took the trollet tour that lasted an hour and half. (Our Glass Bottom Boat Tour was not available and we were rescheduled for the snorkeling or trolley tour. This was done before thw day of the tour, no surprises.) You can hop on and off all day. Listen stops one and two are usually loaded up. Be ready to wait a little, the trolleys come every half hour. Hence noon, 12:30pm and so on. The farther out the trolley stop the lesser people on board. Plan your stops and you will be fine. Another thing, UBER does run on the island, plenty of cars to get around, I took a few between places.
As for the tour, we promptly left at 6pm to return back to Miami. Do not be late for the bus going back or you will forced to get yourself a ride to Miami.
This tour is highly recommended, Please, do this tour and I would do it again. Lilly made sure we had things to do and had our reservations for that event. Lilly did a great job or narrating and pointing out things along the way to the island. She made sure we had her cell phone number and the address of the bus stop for the return trip home.
(There is a breakfast stop at the McDonald's, with a Dollar Tree next door..it is about two hours i to the tour to the island.Yes, you can bring that food onto the bus There is cell phone coverage along the way and on the island.)
The trip was awesome

We firmly believe that the internet should be available and accessible to anyone, and are committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience,
regardless of circumstance and ability. To fulfill this, we aim to adhere as strictly as possible to the World Wide Web Consortium’s (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 (WCAG 2.1) at the AA level.
These guidelines explain how to make web content accessible to people with a wide array of disabilities. Complying with those guidelines helps us ensure that the website is accessible
to all people: blind people, people with motor impairments, visual impairment, cognitive disabilities, and more. This website utilizes various technologies that are meant to make it as accessible as possible at all times. We utilize an accessibility interface that allows persons with specific
disabilities to adjust the website’s UI (user interface) and design it to their personal needs.Additionally, the website utilizes an AI-based application that runs in the background and optimizes its accessibility level constantly. This application remediates the website’s HTML,
adapts Its functionality and behavior for screen-readers used by the blind users, and for keyboard functions used by individuals with motor impairments. If you’ve found a malfunction or have ideas for improvement, we’ll be happy to hear from you. You can reach out to the website’s operators by using the following email
Screen-reader and keyboard navigation
Our website implements the ARIA attributes (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) technique, alongside various different behavioral changes, to ensure blind users visiting with
screen-readers are able to read, comprehend, and enjoy the website’s functions. As soon as a user with a screen-reader enters your site, they immediately receive
a prompt to enter the Screen-Reader Profile so they can browse and operate your site effectively. Here’s how our website covers some of the most important screen-reader requirements,
alongside console screenshots of code examples:
Screen-reader optimization: we run a background process that learns the website’s components from top to bottom, to ensure ongoing compliance even when updating the website.
In this process, we provide screen-readers with meaningful data using the ARIA set of attributes. For example, we provide accurate form labels;
descriptions for actionable icons (social media icons, search icons, cart icons, etc.); validation guidance for form inputs; element roles such as buttons, menus, modal dialogues (popups),
and others. Additionally, the background process scans all of the website’s images and provides an accurate and meaningful image-object-recognition-based description as an ALT (alternate text) tag
for images that are not described. It will also extract texts that are embedded within the image, using an OCR (optical character recognition) technology.
To turn on screen-reader adjustments at any time, users need only to press the Alt+1 keyboard combination. Screen-reader users also get automatic announcements to turn the Screen-reader mode on
as soon as they enter the website. These adjustments are compatible with all popular screen readers, including JAWS and NVDA.
Keyboard navigation optimization: The background process also adjusts the website’s HTML, and adds various behaviors using JavaScript code to make the website operable by the keyboard. This includes the ability to navigate the website using the Tab and Shift+Tab keys, operate dropdowns with the arrow keys, close them with Esc, trigger buttons and links using the Enter key, navigate between radio and checkbox elements using the arrow keys, and fill them in with the Spacebar or Enter key.Additionally, keyboard users will find quick-navigation and content-skip menus, available at any time by clicking Alt+1, or as the first elements of the site while navigating with the keyboard. The background process also handles triggered popups by moving the keyboard focus towards them as soon as they appear, and not allow the focus drift outside of it.Users can also use shortcuts such as “M” (menus), “H” (headings), “F” (forms), “B” (buttons), and “G” (graphics) to jump to specific elements.
Disability profiles supported in our website
Epilepsy Safe Mode: this profile enables people with epilepsy to use the website safely by eliminating the risk of seizures that result from flashing or blinking animations and risky color combinations.
Visually Impaired Mode: this mode adjusts the website for the convenience of users with visual impairments such as Degrading Eyesight, Tunnel Vision, Cataract, Glaucoma, and others.
Cognitive Disability Mode: this mode provides different assistive options to help users with cognitive impairments such as Dyslexia, Autism, CVA, and others, to focus on the essential elements of the website more easily.
ADHD Friendly Mode: this mode helps users with ADHD and Neurodevelopmental disorders to read, browse, and focus on the main website elements more easily while significantly reducing distractions.
Blindness Mode: this mode configures the website to be compatible with screen-readers such as JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, and TalkBack. A screen-reader is software for blind users that is installed on a computer and smartphone, and websites must be compatible with it.
Keyboard Navigation Profile (Motor-Impaired): this profile enables motor-impaired persons to operate the website using the keyboard Tab, Shift+Tab, and the Enter keys. Users can also use shortcuts such as “M” (menus), “H” (headings), “F” (forms), “B” (buttons), and “G” (graphics) to jump to specific elements.
Additional UI, design, and readability adjustments
Font adjustments – users, can increase and decrease its size, change its family (type), adjust the spacing, alignment, line height, and more.
Color adjustments – users can select various color contrast profiles such as light, dark, inverted, and monochrome. Additionally, users can swap color schemes of titles, texts, and backgrounds, with over 7 different coloring options.
Animations – epileptic users can stop all running animations with the click of a button. Animations controlled by the interface include videos, GIFs, and CSS flashing transitions.
Content highlighting – users can choose to emphasize important elements such as links and titles. They can also choose to highlight focused or hovered elements only.
Audio muting – users with hearing devices may experience headaches or other issues due to automatic audio playing. This option lets users mute the entire website instantly.
Cognitive disorders – we utilize a search engine that is linked to Wikipedia and Wiktionary, allowing people with cognitive disorders to decipher meanings of phrases, initials, slang, and others.
Additional functions – we provide users the option to change cursor color and size, use a printing mode, enable a virtual keyboard, and many other functions.
Browser and assistive technology compatibility
We aim to support the widest array of browsers and assistive technologies as possible, so our users can choose the best fitting tools for them, with as few limitations as possible. Therefore, we have worked very hard to be able to support all major systems that comprise over 95% of the user market share including Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, Opera and Microsoft Edge, JAWS and NVDA (screen readers), both for Windows and for MAC users.
Notes, comments, and feedback
Despite our very best efforts to allow anybody to adjust the website to their needs, there may still be pages or sections that are not fully accessible, are in the process of becoming accessible, or are lacking an adequate technological solution to make them accessible. Still, we are continually improving our accessibility, adding, updating and improving its options and features, and developing and adopting new technologies. All this is meant to reach the optimal level of accessibility, following technological advancements. For any assistance, please reach out to
